CONTENT  MEANING OF THE POEM -The meaning of the poem is that there are many sad little houses in our lives today. These are the things that we don’t tend to mind, we just leave them and day by day they are slowly being forgotten.

We forget that we have these things, they slowly decay or rot in our faded memory of them until they are truly forgotten.
