Alexander Johan Hjalmar Skarsgård was born on August 25, 1976, in Stockholm, Sweden.
He is the son of doctor My Günther and Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård, and the brother of actor Gustaf Skarsgård.
Early Career
Skarsgård made his film debut in 1984 in Allan Edwall's drama "Oke and His World." He appeared in several Swedish television series and films before serving in the Swedish Marine Corps.
